How to add functioning HTML code to a Wordpress page or post
http://alewebsocial.com/ - This video tutorial discusses how to add actual HTML code that functions to a page or post in Wordpress.
This question came from a group of authors who are getting ready to launch a book. They are writing blog posts as well as adding content to their own websites about having authored the book. So, they wanted to know how they could add an image of the book to their separate websites, all pointing back to the book's website.
A common set of HTML code was written and shared among the authors. This tutorial teaches you how to take that code, whether it's for a shared project or if you're part of a blog roll or adding a badge to your site, and add it to a page or post in Wordpress.
If you are using HTML on a Wordpress.com site, Wordpress will strip out any HTML that is intended for scripting for security reasons. The only allowable HTML codes allowed for Wordpress.com sites can be found at https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/.
